HV-100 HVAC/R Apprenticeship


Our HVAC/R Apprenticeship Course requires 144 hours of coursework and 2,000 hours of work/experience per year, for four years.

Our HVAC apprenticeship program is a comprehensive, accredited apprenticeship course for educational hours to supplement on-the-job training.  This program prepares the individual to apply technical knowledge and skills to install, operate, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.  Includes proper use and handling of refrigerants, and EPA certification.  Covers applicable codes, and basic troubleshooting.  This course includes four levels.

I was attending another HVAC course at a different location. I switched to Virginia Technical Academy due to the following: hands-on percentage is higher, set-up lab, and more experienced instructors. Set eyes on this academy and you will switch also.
